But on my foot, they look much better than on the website. TBH before I tried them on in person I thought they were super ugly and weirdly shaped. My favorite design element is that each pair has two bright stripes along the heel for a fun little surprise. They’re crazy comfortable, made from recycled plastic bottles (so cool), and machine washable (so convenient). Speaking of shoes you can throw in the washer, Rothys sent me this pair of their point flats and I love them so much that I bought another pair! I’ve also tried their sneakers and loafers, but the point flat is my favorite. You can wear them without socks and even throw them right in the washer! I think they look super cute with leggings and a big sweater or fleece aka my fall uniform. I slip them on for daycare dropoff because they’re so easy. We also recently realized they make Smallbirds for kids, and Santa may or may not be bringing a pair to Amalia. Anel had always wanted a pair and when he went to buy his I got jealous and bought matching ones. I’ll start with a few words about Allbirds sneakers because I wear mine every single day. That said, the reason I love all of these so much is because the quality is on point and they will last season after season. I also included more affordable options for each of my picks. One is a wish list item but the rest I have and wear on repeat. I pair them with a simple Dudley Stephens fleece and feel like a million bucks. In the last few weeks, I’ve gotten more than one request to compare my beloved Allbirds to my Rothy’s flats… The problem is that I love them equally and wear them for different purposes so I can’t really compare the two! But I decided to take it one step further and highlight all of my current favorite comfortable flats. The pants and booties from this outfit came in my StitchFix box and they’re both fantastic. Mules (I splurged on these 3 years ago and they’re still a favorite) I’ve had this $10 Old Navy long sleeve tee for years and have since bought 2 more of the exact same one because I wear it so often. I haven’t lived in Manhattan for 8 years but the all-black outfit always feels the most chic for me. The most classic striped tee maybe ever paired with my forever favorite pair of A.Golde jeans that feel more like sweats than jeans, and sneakers that I can slip on and off in 0.2 seconds.Ī.Golde Riley High Rise Straight Crop Jeans in Frequency There is nothing really special about any of these outfits, but the simplicity and ease with with I can choose them makes life just a little bit easier every day. They’re tried and true and once I throw them on I know I’m good to go without checking twice. They’re all simple, comfortable, and make me feel the most like me. In fact, there are 3 outfits that I throw on over and over for the days when I’m not in athleisure. As I was taking a second pass over my closet last weekend, I realized that despite having way too many clothes (I’ve since cut the amount in half), I reach for the same pieces over and over again. In my decluttering chaos (organized chaos), I’ve had a lot of interesting revelations about how we live as a family, what we actually use in our home, and how I dress myself.
